We had a lovely time in St Martin, made even better by the accommodation. Both my wife and daughter were smitten by the house (and I thought it was pretty good!!)… you’ve created a little gem. And you just can’t beat the location. We loved the decor, the fact it was all so clean and everything ‘just worked’ – it made our stay comfortable and relaxing and allowed us to get the best out of St Martin in particular and Ile de Re generally. We’ve stayed in a few holiday villas and houses over the years and I have to say Galathée is up there with the very very best… the website and pictures don’t really do it justice. Also, having Valerie there to meet us on arrival, and to see us off at the end, was really helpful – again that is something that doesn’t usually happen when you go to a holiday villa abroad and is a nice touch… so double points for that! All in all a lovely holiday that we’ll treasure for many years.
